How do I access the web management interface?
Connect your computer to any Ethernet port of the switch and open a web browser to access the management interface. The switch ships with a default management IP and login credentials, which are provided in the user manual included in the package.
Does the switch include SFP fiber modules?
Yes. The package includes one single-mode 1310nm SFP 20km distance module and one multi-mode 850nm SFP module for immediate use. You can also install your own compatible standard 1G SFP modules depending on your fiber type or transmission distance.
Why does the switch automatically reboot my PoE device?
The switch supports a PoE watchdog (PD Alive) function. If a connected PoE device stops transmitting data for a certain time, the switch can automatically restart power on that port to recover the device. This feature can be enabled or disabled.
What power supply is required?
The switch uses 4857V DC power through an industrial terminal block. It supports dual power inputs for redundant power supply, improving reliability in industrial or surveillance deployments.
What happens when 250m Extend Mode is enabled?
Extend Mode allows PoE transmission up to 250 meters, which is useful for long-distance surveillance cameras. When this mode is enabled, the port speed is reduced to 10 Mbps to maintain stable transmission over longer cable distances.
This industrial managed PoE switch is designed for professional Ethernet networks that require stable power delivery, advanced Layer 2 control, long-distance fiber connectivity, and environmental monitoring in one compact device. It is a strong fit for IP surveillance systems, industrial automation cabinets, smart transportation projects, remote monitoring installations, access control systems, and other network deployments where both data and power must remain reliable.
The switch provides 4 Gigabit Ethernet PoE ports supporting IEEE 802.3af/at/bt, with up to 90W per port for high-power PoE devices such as PTZ cameras, floodlight cameras, WiFi access points, outdoor radios, industrial controllers, touch panels, and other powered Ethernet equipment. For backbone or long-distance uplink connections, it also includes 2 Gigabit SFP fiber slots, allowing integration into fiber-based infrastructure and remote network segments.
Unlike a basic unmanaged PoE switch, this model gives the installer and system integrator direct control over how the network behaves. Through the web management interface, users can configure VLAN segmentation, PVID settings, accepted frame types, static VLAN membership, bandwidth control, storm protection, port isolation, port mirroring, MAC address search, static MAC binding, port statistics, STP/RSTP loop prevention, link aggregation, PoE watchdog, PoE reboot, per-port PoE control, and total PoE power budget management. These features make it suitable not only for powering devices, but also for controlling traffic flow, isolating critical systems, simplifying troubleshooting, and protecting the network from loops, congestion, or unstable field devices.
This switch is especially useful in surveillance networks where one device failure can affect the whole system. Features such as PoE PD Alive / watchdog auto-recovery help automatically reboot unresponsive PoE devices, reducing site visits and downtime. Port statistics and port mirroring help technicians identify active links, monitor traffic, and troubleshoot faults more efficiently. Storm control, VLANs, and port isolation help prevent broadcast floods, separate cameras from office traffic, and reduce unwanted device-to-device communication inside the same switch.
