The GigaIO FabreX RB4082 is an enterprise-class, 1U high-performance fabric switch engineered for Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure (CDI), High-Performance Computing (HPC), and AI/machine learning data centers. By natively routing PCIe Gen 4 and Compute Express Link (CXL) signals directly between compute nodes, storage arrays, and accelerator pools, the RB4082 bypasses traditional network protocol translation overhead to achieve sub-microsecond latency and massive inter-device bandwidth.
Designed to dynamically pool GPUs, NVMe SSD storage enclosures, FPGAs, and system memory, the FabreX RB4082 transforms static hardware racks into fluid, software-configurable resource pools. Supported by GigaIO FabreX Manager orchestration software and equipped with redundant hot-swappable power supplies and high-density fabric interfaces, the RB4082 provides an agile, low-latency interconnect architecture for modern enterprise and research workloads.
