Distance Sensing and Tracking Principle When the Bluetooth connection between your device and the Air Tracker Tag is within 200 feet, you can use the "Play Sound" feature (100dB) to emit an alert tone for locating the item. Once Lost Mode is enabled, even if out of Bluetooth range, it will upload location data to iCloud via Apple's global device network for continuous tracking. (Actual effective range varies with environment and signal: ~60m in open areas, ~30m when obstructed.)
