The spline measures 5/16 in. (0.315 in.) wide x 0.092 in. tall x 100 ft. long and it is used for installing fiberglass screen mesh into aluminum screen frames. This type of screen spline is installed by laying it flat into the spline channel (over the fiberglass screen mesh) and inserting the inner edge of the screen spline under the lip of the screen frame.
