The retainer can be used in many other applications, including the edges of gates, sliding doors, entry doors, uneven floor types of situations, and many other uneven floor types of situations. The seal insert is held in place with a sturdy aluminum extrusion fastened to the bottom of the door with screws. The high-performance seal is made of durable black EPDM synthetic rubber and performs well under extreme temperature conditions from -40°F to 240°F.

It passes the Low Temperature Flexibility, Aging Resistance, and Bottom Anti-Seepage Tests. The Door Weatherstrip & Accessories kit includes 16 feet of aluminum with four 40-inch pieces and four 32-inch pieces, plus a 16-foot weather seal with one each. It also includes 2 rubber end plugs and screws. Recommended for use on steel or wood roll-up doors.
