I have some enterprise sata drives that I am using in a media server. It does not have a backplane, so the sata III cables that I have (with clip) do not work well; they easily come out, since there is nothing to clip onto. Will these low profile non-latching cables work better?

I have some enterprise sata drives that I am using in a media server.  It does not have a backplane, so the sata III cables that I have (with clip) do not work well; they easily come out, since there is nothing to clip onto.  Will these low profile non-latching cables work better?

Yes these cables will work better for this situation, not having a latch will prevent the cables from pushng themselves out, unseating, and disconnecting.
