This convertor expands the SFF-8639 U. 2/U. 3 by one SFF-8612 oculink interface. It can be connected e. g. one SSD by using an optional cable.
The card transmits PCI Express 4.0 / 5.0 signals using the NVMe protocol.
Connectors: 1 x OCuLink SFF-8612 female and 1 x SFF-8639 U. 2/U. 3 femaleand 1 x SATA power.
Data transfer rate up to 64Gbps, Supports NVM Express (NVMe) 1.2.
The vertical connector allowing you to connect it to a female port, even if space around the port is limited.
The speed and other properties is not changed, only form conversion interface. Transparent to the operating system and does not require any software drivers.
U. 3 drives are still backward compatible with U. 2, though— the U. 3 drives determine whichhost type it is insertedinto (by using different combinations of HPT0 and HTP1 being open or ground)
