This 0.5m MCIO SFF-TA-1016 8X to 8-port SATA breakout cable is a professional internal storage wiring accessory specially built for enterprise servers, RAID HBAs and high-density storage workstations. It breaks out one Mini Cool Edge IO SFF-TA-1016 8X host interface to eight separate standard SATA connectors, greatly expanding the number of accessible hard drives for storage controllers and motherboard MCIO slots.
Each SATA branch fully supports SATA 3.0 6Gbps bandwidth, delivering consistent fast read and write performance for mechanical hard drives, solid-state drives and optical drives in RAID configurations, NAS systems and data center storage enclosures. The half-meter compact length perfectly fits narrow rack server interiors, neatly arranging wiring bundles without blocking fans, heat sinks or drive cages, which is critical for long-term thermal management.
Both terminals adopt robust locking latches and gold-plated pin contacts to resist oxidation, dust and mechanical vibration from server fans and equipment operation, effectively lowering the risk of dropped connections and data loss.
