This PCIe x4 OCuLink host adapter converts an internal PCIe 3.0/4.0 x4 slot on your mainboard into an external OCuLink SFF-8612 interface. You can attach SFF-8611 OCuLink cables to link external U.2 SFF-8639 NVMe SSD enclosures, great for high-speed storage expansion on workstations, mini PCs and rack servers.
It uses pure passive signal transmission without additional control chips, retaining complete native PCIe bandwidth to unlock full performance of enterprise NVMe SSDs. The external SFF-8612 port works with all standard SFF-8611 OCuLink cables for reliable long-distance storage wiring.
A durable full-height metal PCI mounting bracket is supplied for secure chassis fixation.
