This long-distance external breakout cable integrates a signal IC chip inside the SFF-8644 connector, solving unstable signal issues commonly seen on ordinary long SAS breakout wires. One Mini SAS HD SFF-8644 male host port fans out to four separate SATA 7Pin female ports for connecting SATA hard drives, SSDs and storage backplanes.
Complying with SATA 3.0 protocol, each channel delivers stable 6Gbps data throughput for mass data backup, virtualization and database workloads. Adopting 28AWG high-purity copper as internal conductors, the wire maintains low signal loss over the full 2-meter length without speed degradation.
The built-in IC chip strengthens signal integrity, effectively suppressing electromagnetic interference and cross-talk between four SATA lines, greatly reducing risks of unrecognized drives or intermittent disconnection in long wiring scenarios. All connectors feature locking buckles to firmly attach to server RAID/HBA cards and storage enclosures, resisting vibration from running rack equipment.
