This PCIe 5.0 MCIO x8 to dual OCuLink SFF-8611 4i breakout cable is a professional high-speed interconnect harness designed for enterprise servers, high-performance computing and mass NVMe storage systems. It converts one single MCIO x8 host port into two separate OCuLink 4i x4 channels, supporting hardware bifurcation to connect two OCuLink devices simultaneously.
Fully compliant with PCIe 5.0 specification and backward compatible with PCIe 4.0 & 3.0, it adopts precision impedance-controlled twinax conductors and multi-layer EMI shielding structure to eliminate crosstalk and signal attenuation, delivering consistent high bandwidth for large file rendering, AI computing and enterprise data backup. Each connector features positive locking latches to secure insertion, avoiding accidental unplugging in vibration-prone rack environments.
Measuring 80 centimeters (2.6 feet), the moderate length streamlines internal cable routing, reduces clutter and optimizes chassis airflow for better heat dissipation. All contact pins are gold-plated to lower contact resistance and resist oxidation for long-term durable use. Plug-and-play without extra drivers, perfectly matched with MCIO-equipped motherboards, RAID adapters, NVMe storage backplanes, OCuLink external SSD enclosures and mini eGPU docks. Ideal for data center deployment, DIY high-speed storage arrays and content creator workstations.
Note: Each SFF-8611 4i port runs up to PCIe 4.0 x4 bandwidth limited by OCuLink hardware standard.
