This M.2 NVMe M-Key extension adapter set consists of M-key male PCB, M-key female PCB and a 40cm SFF-8654 connecting cable, used to extend the onboard M.2 NVMe slot on motherboards. It only supports M-Key NVMe SSDs and does not work with B/B+M key SATA NGFF drives.
It perfectly fits 2280 and extra-long 22110 NVMe solid state drives from mainstream brands such as Samsung, WD, Kingston, Crucial, Intel and ADATA. If your original motherboard M.2 slot is blocked by large cooling radiators, graphics cards or power modules, this extension cord helps you move the SSD to a spacious position, improving chassis airflow and reducing SSD overheating.
The SFF-8654 intermediate cable features multi-layer shielding to eliminate electromagnetic crosstalk, maintaining low-latency high-speed data performance during large file transfer, video rendering and gaming loads. Both ends adopt gold-plated pins to lower contact resistance and prevent oxidation, with reserved screw holes for secure installation to avoid loose connection.
Plug and play without extra drivers, fully compatible with Windows, Linux and macOS systems. Ideal for DIY custom computers, mini workstations, high-performance editing rigs and small storage servers.
