This Mini SAS breakout cable adopts SFF-8643 to quad SFF-8482 design, widely used to connect SAS RAID cards or storage expanders to SAS/SATA hard drives in rack servers, surveillance storage and DIY NAS devices.
Complying with SAS 2.0 standard, it delivers steady 6Gbps bandwidth to meet mass data storage and transmission demands. The 60-centimeter moderate length provides sufficient layout space without redundant messy cables inside compact server enclosures.
Each SFF-8482 port integrates data and power contacts to supply power directly to hard disks without extra separate power cords. The cable is built with full shielding structure to block electromagnetic interference from surrounding hardware, avoiding bandwidth loss during long-hour data reading and writing.
