This passive Mini Cool Edge IO cable follows SFF-TA-1016 industrial standard, equipped with identical 74Pin x8 male connectors on both ends for direct extension between MCIO RAID/HBA cards, NVMe backplanes and motherboard MCIO ports.
Constructed with low-loss differential twinax wires and independent shielding for each signal pair, the cable blocks electromagnetic crosstalk inside compact server enclosures and retains full PCIe 5.0 x8 bandwidth without throttling. It supports high-intensity workloads including enterprise database access, large-capacity NVMe array transmission and HPC computing.
The 80-centimeter length meets long-distance internal wiring demands, helps organize messy cables and improves chassis airflow to lower storage hardware temperature. Each connector features retention latch and pull tab design for easy plug and unplug. Thick gold-plated pins reduce contact resistance and prevent disconnection caused by rack vibration.
