If you connect it to a USB hub or extension cable, you may not be able to recognize the drive or read the BD, CD/DVD.

- 13.When this Blu-ray drive works on Windows 10 or Catalina,please note: It is important you have a media player such as the VLC media player installed BEFORE you connect the Blu ray player to play DVD. This is not a fault of the Blu-ray player - it's because Windows 10 / Catalina doesn't have a default player installed.Otherwise this Blu-ray drive can't play the DVD.
- 14.For Blu-ray drives with touch buttons,Touch ejection button does not work on Mac.(For Mac OS, use the mac command to eject disc. For Mac OS, the DVD drive icon shows after drive reads successfully the disc. So after you placed a disc into the drive, the DVD icon will not show up immediately.)
1.Q: After connecting to my computer, why can't my computer show this blu ray drive?
A:(1)Please make sure that your computer is in enough power, for desktop, please plug usb cable directly to the USB interface of the motherboard behind. For laptop, please make sure laptop is in enough power and we suggest to plug our another power cable, you can use your smart phone adaptor (5V/1A or 5V/2A )to offer power supply, you can also plug the power cable into your computer's USB interface. If you still can't see the blu-ray drive, please re-start your computer.
(2)Please ensure there is a drive driver in your computer.
(3)When this Bluray drive works on Mac OS,when connected to Mac,there is no icon showing on the desktop,after we put a disk inside the drive,it will show a disk icon on the desktop.
2.Q:My WIN10 system can't recognize it, what should I do?
A: Please right click "My Computer"--"Management"- "Double click Device Management" -- then click the "DVD/CD-ROM Driver".
There are three situations you may encounter:
(1).You may get to know the model of the External Drive after click the DVD/CD-ROM Drive, which means that the drive works perfectly.
(2).You may get to know the model of the External Drive with a exclamation mark which means there is an error of your computer system.
(3).You may get nothing after click the DVD/CD-ROM Drive which means that the external drive does not be recognized by your computer.
Sometimes a USB HUB can also solve this problem. Connect the USB hub to your computer, then connect the drive to your HUB.
3.Q:The disc can not be ejected?
A:(1).The drive must be inserted into the computer rather than the HUB.But sometimes use USB HUB(powered by adapter) is recommend, for example, you need connect the drive to your laptop, but your laptop can't offer enough power to the drive.
(2). The USB interface in front of the desktop chassis is insufficiently powered.Make use the USB port is plugged into the USB port behind of the computer host.
(3). Make sure the disc is not deformed before use.
4.Q:Why it can't play Blu ray disk ?
A :(1)Please ensure that there is a correct connecting from the drive to your computer.
(2)Please ensure that there is a correct Blu-ray playback software in your computer with a correct Blu ray play format.
5.Q:Why can't it show my blu ray disc after put it into driver?
A: Ensure the disc is successfully placed in the drive. Don't reverse the disc. Check if it has Virtual drive on your computer, disable virtual drive.
