This 30 micron pleated sediment filter features a greater surface area than a wound, spun or melt blown filter. The thicker filter media has a greater capacity to capture and retain the particles compared to thin, more rigid media types which have less void space for particle retention. The synthetic filter media is cellulose-free and contains no additives or binders which may cause foaming. The increased dirt holding capacity with longer life and fewer cartridge replacements reduces the filtration costs. The temperature range is from 40 to 140 degrees F (4.4 to 60 degrees C) and the maximum water pressure is 40 psi.
