The ASCO 8220G405 is a pilot-operated, 2-way solenoid valve suitable for hot water and steam flow control. It features a diaphragm and piston valve type with a normally closed configuration. Constructed with a brass body and PTFE seals, this valve operates within an ambient temperature range of 14 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and can handle fluid temperatures up to 210°F for hot water and 300°F for steam. It accommodates a 1/2 inch nominal pipe size with NPTF inlet and outlet connections, and includes an coil for actuation. The valve provides automated control of fluid flow with a flow coefficient (Cv) of 4.7.
