In most cases, SHORT is intended for a stainless steel sink top, while LONG is suited for thick countertops such as granite, marble, or quartz. **SAFETY & SECURITY** The power-supply cords are certified by UL for safety and extended use. They are suitable for voltages ranging from 110V to 130V. **EASY TO INSTALL** No tools are needed for installation. The countertop hole diameter should measure between 1 1/4" and 1 3/4". It fits a standard sink hole for a soap dispenser; otherwise, you will need to drill a hole yourself. **EXCELLENT COMPATIBILITY** It operates with any brand of garbage disposal (2HP), including Waste King, ISE, Moen, GE, and others. **NOTIFICATION** Please trim the excess hose rather than coiling it between the button and the power module, as coiling may cause the switch to become unreliable
