Rated at 1000 Micron. An ideal first-stage water filter for residential homes, designed to reduce sediment, rust, dirt, sand, and large particles before water enters a finer whole house water filtration system. Flushable and reusable, it takes on the considerable workload off finer filters that follow behind it; helps create a multi-layer gradient filtration system for better filtration results and extend filter life. WSP series can be used for waste water treatment by spinning down the sediment. Includes Siliphos to help soften water, prevent scale, and stop corrosion, greatly extending the life of your plumbing fixtures.

It is recommended that the filter be replaced every 3-6 months to prevent scale from building up.
