can I use this cable to connect and view my laptop onto another monitor?

This cable is intended to to be used from any PC/ laptop to the Trendnet KVM switch. You can connect the video and USB cable to the laptop, just be sure the laptop external video is turned on. The monitor, keyboard and mouse plugged into the KVM switch should work as long as they are not disabled in the laptop bios. You can plug more PCs into the KVM switch with this or similar cables to share a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

will this work to link my new All-in-one Acer computer to my projector? Currently the projector uses a vga cord, which i used to link thru my laptop.

This is used for a TrendNET KVM switch. One end MUST be plugged into the proprietary device. It will NOT go between any computer to a projector. One end will hook to any computer. The other will NOT hook to ANY Monitor or projector.

Is this cable compatible with the LINKSKEY LKV-7308?

I don't know but the Linkskey web site has 10' KVM cables listed at $14. I would check them out
