no mounting brace, it comes with the two clips as shown in the picture that snaps onto the CPU heat sink housing similar as how the stock fan does.

Its a good fan, has dropped my CPU temperature 20 degrees.

I know this is three years too late, but for anyone else that may be reading this and wondering, the lighting on the Wraith Prism works as follows:
There are two possible lighting connections.  Do not use both, use one or the other.

1) A standard ARBG 5V connector.  This will give you some lighting control through your motherboard's native RGB software.  Some, but not all.
2) A cable that connects to an open USB 2.0 connector on your motherboard.  Download Cooler Master's Wraith Prism software and this will allow you to fully control the lighting on the fan.  There are three separate customizations, the fan, the ring around the fan, and the AMD logo, and the software allows them all to be independently controlled.

There is also an "L-H" switch.  This is a fan throttling switch.  "L" is low, basically an eco quiet mode.  "H" is for higher performance cooling.  Will be louder that way, but in my experience, it's nothing unreasonably loud, I prefer the peace of mind knowing it can crank up if it feels the need at the expense of a little fan noise.

Have used this for years with my 3700x, great cooler, very satisfied with my experience.
