This card is "low profile ready."  Does it include a standard profile bracket?

Accepted Answer

It arrives as pictured with standard bracket in place - if you have a standard computer, you don't need to do anything.  If you have a low profile case (like me), two screws and the VGA goes on one low profile bracket and the card on the other.

Will this work in a Dell OptiPlex 755 Small form factor. Also does it come with the low profile bracket. Installed windows 10 and need a compatible GPU?

Thanks Ron, I assumed it would work but needed some more input. I just didn't want to purchase something that would not work in my clients computer and have to eat it. I was surprised that the Dell after I got windows 10 on it even though Dell said no drivers for the GPU in Windows 10, the next day it did an update and installed working drivers for the GPU so no need to get a new card. hello, i got this card 2 days ago, and i cant wake up my PC with it.
always restarting itself after a sec when i hit the power button...
what can i do?

1st thing to check, does your power supply meet the requirements of the card and all other powered devices combined? If yes, does the PC have on board video and this is the first time you have used an add on video card? If so, you can try going into the BIOS and selecting PCI (or something similar) as the primary video source. Make sure you have the latest drivers and firmware for the card. If everything above checks out and you still have an issue, then verify a known good card works, if it does then contact Newegg and RMA the non-functioning card. If it does not, further troubleshooting of the motherboard and/or operating system would be the next logical step. Note: another potentially risky step you can try is to set the motherboard BIOS back to defaults or update the BIOS. Updating or setting the BIOS to default settings can have negative effects, if your BIOS is modified from stock (example: custom settings for RAID or memory or CPU) and can cause the system to stop functioning.

Yes indeed. Most graphic cards do support two monitors at once. This one is no different. I bought this to replace my older low profile card that was overheating. Since I replaced it with this one 1.5 years ago, I've had no issues and use (2) 24" HD monitors.

Will this card output sound to my HDMI port on my Sony TV?

I've been able to get it to output sound via HDMI to Samsung and LG monitors with no problem.  If you have a problem on a Sony display it would probably be with your PC settings or the Sony display.

will this video card work with windows 10 and will it also work with a 250 watt power supply ? i am using an amd atlon II procesor

I am running this card in an HP SFF DC7900 Windows 8.1 with a 240W PS and two SATA hard drives. For my usage, this is adequate as I am not gaming or editing video, etc. For your usage it will depend on what the PS is supporting and how hard you want to use the video card. Example: if you have a PC with several hard drives, an external drive, an upgraded audio card, a firewire or USB 3.0 card, and you want to use a graphics intensive program. This would require more power than your PS can safely provide, leaving devices underpowered and your PS running hot.
As for the Win10 question, there is not a driver on the ASUS website for Win10, so there is gamble purchasing this card for a Win10 system.

newegg says the onboard graphics on your MB(the sb710) has a radeon 3000 chip. comparing the hd5450 and the radeon 3000 on gpuboss shows the hd5450 to outperform the radeon 3000. Whether it meets your needs would depend on the games you intend to play with it.

Is this crossfire compatible?

No where in the documentation does it mention being crossfire compatible.  It does not mention SLI or Crossfire at all.  That terminology is what you should be looking for in the specifications of video cards for gaming intentions.  I purchased this card because it was vast improvement over the on-board video.

Will this fit and will it be compatible with my dell optiplex 7010 mini tower? Do I have to buy a new power supply? Thank you.

I don't know about that specific case but it does come with both a standard size end plate and a mini size plate so it should fit.

I installed it in an Optiplex 745 minitower which used the standard size plate.

It did not require a power connector, it just plugged right into the PCI-E port.

The performance was great, the computer went from crashing during a 3D rendering to running very smoothly.

Great choice, especially considering the price.

Would this card be compatible with a legacy ASUS motherboard P4C800e?

I have used it for with anything I need a cheap and reliable card for. Plug and play not for gamming but if you just need a card its good.
