Accepted Answer

nope. just power cord adapters. evga usually comes with adapters. but this card is amazing. maybe find just the part. maybe at fry's electronics if one is close. or some local mom and pop computer store.

Question 2

How do I set up my second monitor when it only has 1 HDMI outlet?

Accepted Answer

You connect additional monitors to the DisplayPort or DVI connectors. Check your second monitor to see what ports it supports. I have 3 monitors attached - one on HDMI, one on DVI, and one on DisplayPort. My spouse's computer has 3 monitors on one of these cards, too - one on HDMI, and two on DVI. Both configurations work well.

Question 3

Does this play BF4 Pretty well on a 1080p monitor?

Accepted Answer

I honestly do not have bf 4 but i would imagine that this card would run it on at least normal settings decently. of the games i have the most graphically intensive would most likely be arkham asylem and that works on max settings with out a hitch.

Question 4

Is it sli ready.?

Accepted Answer

It appears to be SLI ready, as it has the connectors on the top. I haven't bought a second one yet though. You can get a better look at the top connectors in 360 degree view.

Question 5

Hi everyone out there who own this card. I bought this card about a month ago and these 2 weeks it keep crashing like every few days. On windows it states that it was graphics kernel crash and had restored.

I had a online game that is like 11 years old that is constantly logged on and no other programs are running except for antivirus and maybe google chrome. The driver is the latest 331.82.

Anyone of you encounter this problem too?

Accepted Answer

I have this card for about 2 months now and it has been doing very good without any trouble. Actually I am pretty happy about it. I can do pretty much all the games in high setting. I will first check the connection of the card. Loose connection might cause silly problem. If you haven't update the software, you might try that as well. Otherwise, you might need to try your card on your friend's computer to see if things happen to troubleshoot.

Hope it is helpful

Question 6

Scott Leger

Accepted Answer

I would not use this card without at least a 550 watt PSU, i have a 650 but I have seen it with a 550. It really is a fantastic card though you will like it. Oh an make sure it will fit in your computers case because its a massive card.

Question 7

How well would this be able to run withWoW along with a AMD 8350 OR would it run better with a intel i5 quad core?

Accepted Answer

Intel's i5 3470 Ivy Bridge 3.2Ghz Quad-core would be the best option, although for a relatively undemanding game such as WoW you would be much better off going with ALMOST any desktop series i5 variation rather than the AMD FX 8350. In real world situations (other than gaming) such as postprocessing or video editing, you will not notice a huge difference.
Do keep in mine that, generally, Intel socket motherboards are more expensive, but better at overclocking, expansion, and aesthetics.
Hope this helped.

Question 8

will it run with a 500w power supply?

Accepted Answer

I wouldn't recommend it, why fight power struggles when you can bump up to 650w for a few bux more. any good system with Quad+ processor & *GB of ram at no load will pull 450-475, if you start pushing those components it will draw more & if you exceed what your PSU will output then you could damage your equipment.

Question 9

is this card over 15"?

Accepted Answer

To me the card seems massive at just under 12". But if you have 15" clearance, you should have plenty of room.

Question 10

how hot does this run?

Accepted Answer

I have seen mine get to 80c on BF4 on Ultra but I had a crappy CPU cooler heating my whole case. I got a new CPU cooler and now the highest I have seen is 60c on BF4 Ultra. It's real quiet and a nice solid card.
