Question 1

The description states "low profile ready".  And it's clear the DB15 VGA connector can be removed.  Does the card come with another mounting bracket for mounting in a slim case?

Yes, it comes with two additional mounting brackets and a drivers disk.  The software/hardware installed flawlessly (had lots of issues with earlier purchase - MSI ATI Radeon HD6450 1GB DDR3 Low Profile).

What I don't like about the card is the loud high pitched sound the fan makes.....very annoying.  For this reason, I would not purchase the card again and will be contacting NewEgg to seek a resolution.

will this fit in standard desktop box?  The low profile description doesn't mean that it fits in like a small form factor case right?

Hi Kee, this video card ships with a standard height desktop mounting bracket installed on it. Inside the box is a 2nd bracket that can be switched in place of the one that comes installed for a "low profile" installation in a desktop box that has the "small footprint" form factor. To swap the bracket you need to remove the 4 threaded pegs- 2 next to each of the monitor connectors.

Translation: Yes, this card will fit virtually any desktop computer that has a PCI Express slot.

Can this 64bit card run in an XP 32 bit system?  What is the minimum power supply rating needed?

Absolutely! If you have a PCI-e slot you are all set. I have two of these that run fine on 32bit systems and the units are actually beneficial as such. Low power consumption and excellent for interfacing with HDMI led/lcd televisions. Install the card and the drivers provided with the card and you are all set...does not hurt to go to Nvidia and find an updated driver and the card eases the work the chip-set is required to do...as the chip set is basically by-passed. I recommend this type of graphics card for any PCI-e table top computer. It does not matter if your computer runs DDR2 ram, the card functions independent of that and works very well. Good investment!

Will this work with a 240-watt psu?

this card is actually working on my 240 Watt PC. However, I'd go with the recommendations for this card. Sometimes the fan makes a buzzing noise. The fan is generaly noisy. I'm not sure if the fan is faulty or the lower power output effects the RPMs that would cause the noise. Also I don't play games so I didn't test the card under a heavy load. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. It does what it needs to do.

Will this support dual monitors?

Yes.
The DVI port appears to be a single primary monitor connection, the other ports are alternates for the secondary.
I use this card in the office computers.  We have 14 of them and they work just fine.  Some are in employee workstations for dual monitor work productivity while some others are in display machines that run 4 to 6 monitors/TVs using this card and external USB video cards.  We have been running the oldest one for almost two years and it still works great, though we beat them up and run them like dogs.
Cheap and reliable, no matter what you do with it.

I really hate to take all my network engineering experience and slim it down this simple answer but if your mobo has a slot that takes this card, this card will work.
Personally, I have put this card in a plethora of different computers and have not had a problem yet.  Since we use them at the office and we run the tar out of our PCs, they don't last long; approx. one and a half years when beat up.  Less used workstations still have the one that was installed over two years ago.
This card also has the ability to fit into a low profile computer but you need to remove the VGA connection and replace the metal front.
After looking at your mobo online, I'm going to reverify that it will work for you.

Yes! This is an exelent buy. Had mine for about a year and this device functions like new! Good expense. My Dell is a low profile and this works great!

I installed this on a machine with Win 7 Ultimate Retail. I do know that it works well with the Linux CentOS 6.4 live disc though. The nVidia website has Linux drivers.

Absolutely.  We're running tis card in 4 Dell E520 computer each running Windows 7 64-bit.  We're running dual monitors on each computer, a 19" in portrait mode and a 27" in landscape mode.  Great card!!
