I'm new at this but can this video card support dual monitors?

It has 3 video out ports, dvi, hdmi & analog.  When I read through the spec while installing it it said it did support dual monitors.  I figure that would be one monitor on dvi & one on hdmi.

I never actually implemented it, cause my application doesn't require dual monitors.  But at the price, who cares.  To check this out google that video card for a pdf user/install manual an check it out.

i install the grapic card but my monitor wont recognice.?

check your motherboard's there is probably another video device on the motherboard.  If that's the case, this card's address is probably at the same location as the PCI Radeon card.  Usually when addresses overlap the cpu can't see either video device.  Usually the motherboard has a jumper stack somewhere that you can short together to disable it.

Beyond that, the card may be dead on arrival.  Its a low probablility error, but it does happen from time to time.

Always check the video cable it also can be DOA.  Its also rare, but it has also happened to me.

Usually the motherboard will send out speaker signals (i.e., that implies you should connect it so that you can hear it) the speaker beeping pattern designates the type of error.  the beep pattern can be looked up on the motherboard vendor's website.  That also works.

Other than these guesses, I don't have a clue.

is this this low profile ready?

No... Theres no low profile bracket in the box... You may be able to find a bracket but then you would not have your analog port.

I wish to order this computer: Hewlett-Packard 6000 Pro from your website.  Is this video card compatible and is there a free slot to install it in the computer?

There is a PCI Express X 16 slot on the 6000 Pro and this card will fit in the Micro Tower. Although, if you have the SFF (small form factor), you'll need to look for a graphics card designated with the "Low-Profile" or "Low-Profile ready" designation. Like: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-150-565 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-131-511 One other detail: The Micro-Tower case of the HP 6000 Pro has a 320w Power Supply & The Small Form Factor case of the HP 6000 Pro has a 240w Power Supply ~ These level of Graphic Cards are stating to require a minimum Power Supply of 350-400w. Although I have read of graphic cards in this power bracket and above used with power supplies with rated output up to 200w less than the graphic card's minimum... And everything run fine. The specifications are listed for a reason and it is much better to have a power supply with a little head room so it's never stressed. If it were me, i'd buy a higher output power supply. If you had included whether this computer is the SSF or the micro-tower in your question..
