The GLOTRENDS ST7532 solves the most common complaint about 10G upgrades: slot competition. While most 10GbE cards demand a x4 or x8 slot, the ST7532 uses a true PCIe 4.0 x1 interface 16 GT/s of bandwidth, comfortably above the 10Gbps line rate so it installs in the smallest, most commonly unused slot on your motherboard and leaves your x16 slot free for the graphics card and your M.2 slots for storage. The Marvell AQC113 controller (14nm FinFET) auto-negotiates six speeds 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M/10MbE over standard RJ45, reaching up to 100 meters on the Cat5e/Cat6 cabling you already own. Enterprise features include Wake-on-LAN, UEFI and PXE boot, PTP/1588v2, AVB and 16KB Jumbo Frames. It works out of the box on Windows 10/11, Windows Server, macOS 10.15+, Linux, Proxmox VE and VMware ESXi making it a rare 10G option for Mac Pro and Hackintosh builders, home servers and NAS upgrades.
