Hardware Installation

Step 1: Turn off your PC, unplug the power Card and open the case of PC.

Step 2: Remove the mini PCIe Slot cover as below.

Step 3: Plug USB3.0 PCIe card in mini PCIe Slot and install the bracket screw that secures the card to the computer chassis.

Step4: Plug the front panel USB3.0 cable to the combo port, and plug big 4-pin power cable to 4-pin power jack

Step5: Replace the computer chassis cover ,reconnect the Computer Power Card and turn on your PC.

Driver Installation

For Windows® XP/Vista/Win7 /Win8/Win8.1(32/64 bit)

1. Please insert the CD driver bound with USB 3.0 4-Port PCI Express Card into your CD-ROM Drive.

2. At the Windows desktop, click Start, Run.

3. TypeVL805-vl806\VIA_XHCI_Driver_V4.40D_AP \ VIA_XHCI_Driver_ V4.40D_

AP.exe,Double click it.

4. It will first installing Microsoft NET Framework 4.0.if you didnt need, please click Cancel, also it will jump to hardware installation

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

To Verify Driver Installation

Click on the Device Manager tab in System Properties, which you access from the Windows Control Panel. You should see a VIA USB 3.0 Root Hub and a VIA USB eXtensible Host Controller under the Universal Serial Bus controllers item.
