I’m worried about it slipping into the sink. Is the grip secure?
It has non-slip silicone, BUT it requires a flat countertop ledge (min 0.8") to grip properly. If your sink has a sloped rim or no ledge, it may slide. Please check your sink corner before buying to ensure a secure fit.
Can I cut it if it's too big for my faucet?
Yes! The rods are connected by silicone webbing, so you can easily cut a slot with scissors. TIP: Don't cut it too narrow! Ensure enough rods remain to bridge the sink corner securely without falling in.
Can it hold heavy pots without collapsing?
Yes, it supports up to 80 lbs. The weight actually helps! Heavy items press the silicone edges firmly against the counter, creating a stronger non-slip grip. Just ensure the ends are resting fully on the countertop.
Will this work on a farmhouse sink?
Mostly NO. This rack needs to rest on a countertop ledge on both sides. Most farmhouse sinks lack the front ledge support, which causes the rack to slide off. We recommend this primarily for standard undermount sinks.
