Can I use this battery for my Toshiba laptop

On your old battery check the printed labels.  They will give you the battery output voltage and amperage. The numbers need to match your new battery.

You should also find a battery model or class number that you can use to search New egg or other hardware providers.

Without knowing you specific laptop's model number and series i would just be guessing.

However the battery that fits the satellite l700 series seems to be the pa3817 base model number.

Is this battery the right one for my Toshiba L755-S5244?  My kept saying replace battery and last night it would no longer work even while plugged in.

This particular battery is not compatible with my Toshiba laptop.
l775-S7105. I ordered this battery 2 different times and returned them thinking they were defective but to find out Toshiba does not support any after market batteries. You are stuck buying  their own very expensive batteries. As for LB1 products , they are probaby very good. Hope this was helpful.

Battery fit is perfect and after installing it several months ago, I noticed it holds a charge longer than factory battery did when it was new. I would highly recommend this as a replacement.

I purchased this battery to replace the original that came with my laptop. In my opinion, after having this battery for around a year it is far better than the original, the charge lasts longer per charge than the original ever did. It is definitely far superior than original equipment.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L755-S5245 Laptop computer. I recently purchased a replacement battery for this computer that will not hold a charge. If I purchase this battery that claims to be compatable with my computer, do I also have to buy a new charger for a '"high performance" battery?? My current charger works just fine.
