Honeywell - MK7120-31A38-N - Usb Kit Blk Scan Ms7120-38-3 Mounting Plate 45-45619 2.8m 9.2

The Honeywell MK7120-31A38-N is a black USB barcode scanner kit with an MS7120-38-3 scanner, mounting plate, and 2.8 m cable, suited to businesses setting up a wired barcode-scanning station.

Recommended For

• Small convenience-store and specialty-retail checkout counters that need hands-free, omnidirectional scanning of everyday 1D product barcodes without using much counter space.
• Retailers with compact checkout stations who want staff to present items to a countertop scanner rather than pick up a handheld scanner for every small product.
• Store teams that occasionally scan large or bulky merchandise at the register and want to lift the Orbit from its counter position to reach the barcode.
• Businesses using a compatible USB-connected POS setup that need a corded presentation scanner for standard 1D retail barcode checkout.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• At a retail checkout, a cashier slides packaged items past the scanner instead of picking up a handheld reader; its hands-free, omnidirectional scanning is designed to read standard barcodes as items are presented.
• In a convenience, liquor, or specialty store with limited register space, the compact scanner stays on the counter for routine item scanning without taking up much room.
• When an item is too large or awkward to pass over the counter scanner, the cashier can lift the unit and scan the barcode by hand rather than maneuvering the item across the counter.
• At a register that uses a compatible USB point-of-sale setup, the scanner can send barcode data to the connected system for checkout; the POS configuration must support the scanner’s selected interface mode.
