Fell in love with the crisp, full-color display of the GPSMAP 696? So did we. That's why we created a Panel Dock designed specifically to fit the GPSMAP 696 offering a clean, secure, and professional way to mount it in your aircraft panel. Due to the 696's generous screen size (5.7" wide by 7.7" high), the traditional latching system was reimagined to maintain a compact footprint. This custom design keeps the dock within the standard 6.25" radio stack width and just 8" tall using a side-mounted latching wheel that locks the unit in place without adding bulk or visual clutter. To ensure seamless installation, the dock includes integrated cable keyholes to hold connections in place and prevent them from slipping behind the panel. Simply rest the GPS on the dock, connect the necessary cables, snap it in, and engage the latch it's that easy. As with all Panel Dock products, this version for the GPSMAP 696 allows for a solid panel-mounted installation while still offering the flexibility to remove the device quickly when needed.
