Question 1

There is only one motherboard chord, but my motherboard has two inputs for power, and there's no way the chord can reach them both.  What do I do?

Richard - my original answer was incorrect for this type of system.  The main power cable is 24 pin and unlike any of the other cables the PSU comes with.  There is another flat cable that has an 8 pin connector on the end you connect to the PUS and 2 4 pin connectors on the other.  That will handle the EATX12V 8 pin connector on the motherboard

I think so, may be a little overkill though. I'm currently away and can't check but I only remember 4 sata power things but I can't recall a 100%. Hope this helps

How many GPUs can I connect to this power supply ? Specifically GeForce GTX 1080 Ti which has 2 x 8 pin connector?

Probably as many as your motherboard can handle. The issue would not be the power supply but the fact that you cannot bridge more than 2 GTX 1080s (ti or not) together. The removed that functionality with the new GPUs, and even when you could, didn't make that much of an improvement.

in features it say Continuous 850W@40°C ?? that is not 1050w

It's  typo here - check the Rosewill website - it's listed as 1050W continuous 40°C
