Question 1

I have an EVGA G3 650W PSU. Will that have the same pin-out as the Supernova 1000 GT 1000W PSU?  I don't want to have to rewire my PC that is nicely run and zip-tied, but 650W is not going to cut it for a Radeon 7900XT either.

I believe that all of the EVGA modular power supply have all of the same connectors for the power cables. The 1000 watt might have more connectors available, but it should have at least as many as the 650 modular unit.

Question 2

need a new psu thinking of getting this one but i built my system before the 12V standard was talked about would this psu work if my old evga 850w psu is not probably not 12v standard or would i need to check if my parts can work with 12v standard?

The EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 GT has a Single +12V rail, providing stable output for compatibility with the latest hardware. If your old EVGA 850W PSU was compatible with your system, the new EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 GT should also work with your parts.

Will this be compatible with the RTX 4080 cards? ie "PCIE Gen 5 Compatible"

The EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 GT power supply has 8 PCI-Express connectors that are 6+2-Pin, which should be compatible with the RTX 4080 cards.
