There is a 1050J internal surge protector incorporated in this electrical strip, which will automatically shut off if there is an overwhelming surge (spike/lightning). Also, the overload protector shuts off when it's overheated, over-current, or shorted. Later, you just need to press the reset switch at the bottom to power it back on.
