How do you attach the M.2 drive to the board? The holes are not threaded, nor do they have a binding post attached to hole. The included screws are too short to fasten M.2 through the board to the included threaded device (see pics included in listing)

M.2 SSDs Installation steps (Please check the pictures in attachment): 1. M.2 SSD head tilted at 30 degree angle, inserted into Key M interface, 2. The brass standoff snaps into the semi-circular position at the end of the M.2 SSD, 3. Secure the brass standoff from the back with screw.

PCIE bifurcation required?

Yes, your motherboard must support PCIE Bifurcation function for the adapter card to recognize more than one M.2 PCIe SSD.
