It says 2.5 inch but will it also work with a 3.5 inch HDD

I don't know but I expect it will not work for the reason Scott H stated.  Especially if you are using it with a small computer like Raspberry Pi you will definitely want to go with one that has its own power supply  for compatibility/reliability.

Question 2

Is this efficient enough for regular use of the SSD? For example, running programs or games on the SSD.

To be certain, ask the manufacturer.  I used it to clone the HDD before swapping out.  It worked quickly enough, but I don’t know if it is intended for that purpose.  Since it makes the SSD available as a flash drive in the OS, if you can run a game off a flash drive, you could likely do so with this and a SSD.

However, if a game installs to the PC’s OS, the path will be set in the registry.  If you disconnect and reconnect the SSD, the PC may not assign it the same drive letter.  Better to install in the case or never unplug the SSD from the USB port.

Question 3

Does it support SATA 3 (6GB/s) or just SATA 2 (3 GB/s)?
