When both ends of the TVS tube are subjected to an instantaneous high-energy impact, it can reduce the impedance at both ends at a very high speed, absorb A large current, so as to clamp the voltage across it at a predetermined value, to protect the subsequent circuit components from damage due to transient high voltage surges.
