The USR-DR115 is an ultra-small CAN to Ethernet converter that supports data communication and conversion between Ethernet and CAN interfaces. This device is compliant with CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B specification and has wide CAN baud rate 5Kbps~1Mbps. And it has hign EMC protection so it can work in harsh environments and can be used in multiple scenarioes like automotive electronics, EV charging, industrial aotomation and etc.

CAN to Ethernet, Bidirectional Data Communication
With this CAN to Ethernet converter, users can achieve data communication and conversion between CAN and Ethernet device. In software, it supports 4 working mode: server, client, UDP server and UDP client.
3 Protocol Conversion Modes
1. Transparent conversion: the data bytes can be sent to Ethernet port.
2. Format conversion: the network data must be the standard 13 bytes CAN frame.
3. Transparent conversion with identifiers conversion: the CAN ID in network data is translated into the identification field of the CAN frame.
3 CAN Working Modes
1. Standard mode: bi-directional data communicaton.
2. Monitoring mode: ethernet device monitor the data from CAN-bus and will not give any responses.
3. Loopback mode: data sent over Ethernet is looped back and received on the same Ethernet interface, facilitating data integrity testing.
