This is a signal conversion adapter that is used to output screens from computer HDMI port to VGA (mini D-sub15pin) port to displays, projectors, etc.
For projectors that do not have an HDMI connector, you can connect the HDMI port on your computer to an HDMI cable and this product with a VGA cable to output images and videos.
Audio output is not supported.
