This adapter is ideal when your case is equipped with TypeE frontpanel module but your motherboard only provides legacy USB2.0 9pin or 10pin pinheaders. It also multiplies one USB2.0 header into dual USBA female ports for internal accessories such as RGB controllers, fan hubs and other internal USB peripherals. Designed exclusively for insidechassis installation, the compact form factor saves space for ATX and MATX desktop builds. Plugandplay operation without driver installation. Great for new PC assembly, chassis replacement and DIY modding work. Note: Downgraded to USB2.0 speed after connecting to 9pin /10pin header; cannot retain original USB3.1 speed. Only for internal PC use, not for external extension.
