It supports full PCIE 4.0 x4 64Gbps throughput and is backward compatible with PCIE Gen3. The included metal mounting bracket fixes the OCuLink port to your chassis rear for tidy cable management. Multilayer shielded 30centimeter cable minimizes electromagnetic interference and signal attenuation under heavyload operation. Works on Windows and Linux operating systems. Important prerequisites: Your motherboard M.2 slot must be configured for PCIE x4 lanes. SATAbased M.2 drives cannot be recognized. OCuLink peripheral cables and devices sold separately.
