It lets you install a front USB-C port on older motherboards that lack native Type-E connectors. Please note this cable only carries USB2.0 480Mbps data signal, it cannot transmit DP Alt Mode video or PD power delivery. Pre-crimped connectors with locking tabs guarantee reliable contact inside the PC case. No drivers required, ideal for custom PC building and front IO expansion.
