• UltraMax Electronic Fluorescent T8 Multi-volt Instant Start Ballast, 2 or 1 F96T8 lamps. Multi-volt Instant Start T8 Ballast will accept up to 2 or 1 F96T8 lamps. Accommodates multi-voltages from 120 to 277-volts, extra versatile for your unique projects. Anti-striation circuitry helps to eliminate and prevent the spiraling effect from lights. Save on energy with the ultra efficient instant start ballast, more than 90-Percent electrical efficiency. Mounting dimensions: 9-Inch L x 1-Inch W, Mounting slot set 0.3-Inch apart. UltraMax ballasts have a lamp-friendly low-lamp-current crest factor and virtually "read" and adapt to incoming voltage. Parallel lamp operation keeps the unit maintenance easier to manage, if one lamp fails others will stay on. Unit provides anti-striation control, auto-restart functions, and is thermally protected against damage. T8 ballast sound rating: Class A (20-24 decibels). Ballast factor rating of Normal .87 for full light output, ballast factor rating controls light output and wattages of each lamp, a lower BF will reduce light output and wattage of each lamp, meaning more lamps would be needed to achieve a certain foot-candle level in the same area. Ballast has a cold minimum starting temperature of -20 Degree Fahrenheit. Active current regulation independently controls current output to each lamp, ensuring lamp life is not reduced should another lamp fail in the circuit. UL Type CC Rating provides protection against arcing with F96T8 lamps only.
