Works great for my purposes 5/14/2020 1:39:24 PM

Pros: Adds Bluetooth where there was none before
Decent range for Bluetooth 4
Works with windows 10 plug and play
Connects my Bluetooth headset, PS4 controller, or phone when I need them

Cons: Bluetooth 4 is old tech by now, version 5 has many more features and better range at lower power
Sound quality on my Bluetooth 5 headphones is fairly bad, but I'm sure I could play with the settings and fix that

Overall Review: Bought this originally because the cord to my controller was getting loose and would disconnect. Cheaper to buy a Bluetooth adapter than a new controller. It also keeps my headphones connected to my computer when I'm in the kitchen (25 ft, no obstacles) with little or no drop in sound quality due to distance.
Read the manual! It recommends you use a USB 2.0 port to avoid interference instead of a 3.0. Start there if you're having issues. It's likely the drivers aren't playing nice together.

useful dongle is useful 4/18/2020 7:45:47 PM

Pros: it makes Bluetooth happen out of your USB.

Cons: the connection popups are very Windows for Workgroups 3.11 (wait -- this is a pro)
it doesn't give its own easy window for device/connection control, though.

Overall Review: yeah it does what it says

Works as Described 11/4/2019 8:11:53 PM

Pros: It works perfectly with my Linux distro and Bluez. Tested on a Windows 10 machine and it installed the neccessary drivers automatically. Plug and play. Small enough not to block other USB ports. Bluetooth has a good range with no sound or sync issues.

Cons: No issues or complaints.

It works in Linux! 8/2/2019 8:59:25 AM

Overall Review: What more can be said? It works in Linux - openSuse Leap 15.0 is what I'm using, with the KDE Plasma desktop. I ordered two, in case I get a laptop in the future with an incompatible Bluetooth device. I'm using one of them now on my older PC, works fine! It's the berries!

Works with Linux Mint and Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Series II 6/23/2019 7:25:32 PM

Pros: - Working with my Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Series II headphones perfectly
- Cheap
- Small form factor

Cons: - None so far

Overall Review: I wanted to use my headphones with my desktop without using the headphone jack. I wasn't sure it would work what with all the BlueTooth Version 4.0+ stuff.

However, after testing it, the audio sounds great and it was able to connect to my desktop. I'm running Linux Mint Tessa.

Great instructions, and awesome customer service tech available online contact. 4/2/2019 2:35:26 AM

Pros: I have purchased a lot of electronic items but this one has THE best instructions and also a personal contact Tech via email.
He emailed back information that was helpful ...... but I still did not get it working the way it should. If my comment here sounds odd ....... please go to my "cons" to explain.

Cons: I will be honest here: I have Windows 7 and I had problems getting this product to work. (It did a couple times).
I truly believe Win-7 might be the underlying cause of my unsuccessful attempts to get this to work correctly. Win-7 had it's own paragraph of directions, and I believe the drivers are a problem with Win 7.
I am at the stage now where it connects ALL the time, ... but no sound. Again I believe this is my fault not doing something correct in the fixes he sent. I put it aside for now but will contact them again sometime.

Overall Review: If you have Windows 7, I would not recommend this product. I read a lot of reviews of other Bluetooth Dongles and many comments had to do with inadequate or VERY little directions, and or tech help. (I saw one review and it was not in English).
I gave this product 4 stars because of the directions and tech help available and since I am in no hurry, I feel I am just a simple step away from this thing working.
