Product Description:
HDMI dummy plug display emulator for creating a virtual monitor on compatible desktop computers. It helps keep the GPU enabled when no physical display is attached for remote desktop access, screen sharing, game streaming, VR use, rendering, simulations, and GPU-accelerated tasks.
Core Selling Points:
Emulates a virtual display with its own EDID, allowing a computer to operate without a connected monitor. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver or external power. The gold-plated HDMI connection supports stable digital signal transmission and provides multiple display resolution options to help avoid defaulting to a low resolution after rebooting.
Technical Specifications:
Interface: Gold-plated HDMI male. Display support: Up to 4K at 60Hz on Windows, including 4096 x 2160 and 3840 x 2160. Supports 4Kx2K, 2160P, and 1080P. Compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, and XP; compatible with Apple Mac OSX and Linux.
Package Contents:
Gold-plated HDMI dummy plugs, 2-pack.
Before Purchase:
For 4K resolution, HDMI 2.0 and RX460, GTX1050, or above are required. Supports stand-alone graphics card computers only; integrated graphics PCs are not supported. The emulator supports only resolutions supported by the graphics card. Apple Mac OSX supports only resolutions supported by the Mac display.
