FireFold's composite cable consists of single yellow composite video as well RCA audio. The red and white RCA audio wires transmit left and right stereo sound most often found with composite video. They can be used together or separately. These cables are thin but durable with a PVC jacket that allows a maximum of flexibility, even in the tightest of spaces. Fully molded color-coded connectors allow for easy set-up, and the integrated strain-relief boots add to overall reliability. The use of right angle RCA adapters is still suggested in low-profile television mount installations to avoid stress on the composite ports.

Each RCA connector on this composite A/V cable is factory gold-plated which both increases the signal transmission and resists corrosion over long-term use. The high-quality 75 Ohm copper conductors are both braided and foil-shielded, reducing unwanted noise and interference. Interference is best avoided, because it can cause signal degradation and annoying visual artifacts, especially in lower resolution analog cables like composite video.
