13W3-M to HD15-F (VGA) Video Port Adapter

Connect an older Sun computer system with the 13W3 connector to a newer monitor with an HD15 VGA connector using this simple adapter. Alternatively, this adapter, in conjunction with PID 70, can be used to connect a Sun monitor to a Sun system, using a standard HD15 VGA M/F extension cable. The adapter has a male 13W3 plug for connecting to the Sun computer's video output and a female HD15 plug for connecting to the VGA cable from a standard VGA/SVGA monitor. Each end features plastic thumbscrews for securing the adapter to the device.

Note that this adapter is specifically designed for the pinout of the Sun systems and will not work properly with other 13W3 connectors, such as those from older Apple, SGI, or NeXT systems, which used the same connector with a different pinout configuration.
