The switch occupies only one 1U space in a 19" rack and supports screen resolutions up to 2048x1536@60Hz, which is ideal for ensuring optimal clarity when used in digital media or graphic design scenarios. It offers 3 simple switching modes, via keyboard shortcut keys, front panel buttons and on-screen display; configuration and management options are only accessible via OSD. A local console can be connected to the 2 USB and VGA ports on the rear panel while Daisy Chain VGA ports can be used to connect up to 8 Lindy Combo Series switches to manage up to 128 cross-platform computers with security features and password access, perfect for large-scale control systems in transport platforms or monitoring centers. All functions are accessible from the administrator via a simple to use display screen, while LEDs on the front panel indicate the online PC and the selected PC for continuous control and monitoring. Connected PCs and KVM switches can be removed easily via the power outlet, allowing maintenance without having to turn off all connected devices, essential in "always-on" environments such as data centers or traffic management facilities. Computers or servers can be connected to the 8 host ports on the rear panel via dedicated KVM cables (not included).
