I have an LG 5K thunderbolt monitor that I also use as a hub. I currently disconnect it from one computer and connect it to another. Would this be able to handle all the data for the 5K video plus peripherals? The specs are confusing because it says max 10Gbs and also says 8K video but 8K at 60Hz video requires much more than 10Gbps.

However, it is important to note that USB-C docking stations or USB HUBs are not recommended to be connected to this USB C switch as it may cause flickering or the screen to turn black.
