1.
Introduction:
The extender can extend the USB 2.0 tell signal to 100m (network cable) or 20km (FC optical fiber) through a single CAT-5E/6 or a single FC optical fiber.
The USB extender supports low-speed USB devices, full speed USB devices, and high-speed USB devices.
While transmitting USB data, the extender can also conduct low-speed full duplex data communication.
In order to ensure the stability of data transmission, low-speed data transmission is controlled at 1 byte/second or less.
At the same time, the extender also supports remote startup, shutdown, and restart of the host.
This device is an excellent choice for occasions where it is inconvenient to access the host.
2.
Features:
The extender has many advantages, among
which you can find:
1) Compact structure, used in pairs, no need to set
2) CAT-5E/6 cable or FC optical fiber can be used for long-distance transmission
3) CAT-5E/6 adopts IEEE-568B standard
4) USB 2.0 signal transmission rate
5) During network cable transmission, the yellow light (Conn) flashes slowly, indicating that the sending end and the receiving end are waiting for connection, and the yellow light flashes quickly, indicating that the connection between the sending end and the receiving end is normal
6) When the network cable is transmitting, the green light (Status) is not on, indicating that there is no data communication between the sending end and the receiving end. The green light flashes, indicating that the sending end and the receiving end are communicating normally
3.
Specifications
:
1) For high-quality signal transmission, please use standard CAT-5E/6 wire
2) Non standard CAT-5E/6 wire may lead to poor transmission quality or failure to achieve long-distance transmission
3) Within the nominal distance, all functional indicators are normal
If the product cannot achieve long-distance transmission, it may be CAT-5E/6 wire, because of quality problems.
4.
Operating Steps:
1) Connect the USB device directly to the USB port of the receiving end;
2) Connect the wires and accessories of the remote switch to the Remote at the receiving end;
3) Connect the input of the data transmitting device to O at the receiving end, the output to I at the receiving end, and the ground wire to G at the receiving end;
4) Connect the sender and the host with the USB cable attached;
5) Connect the boot pin and ground wire of the host to the PC Power at the transmitter with two parallel lines;
6) Connect the input of the data receiving device to O at the receiving end, the output to I at the receiving end, and the ground wire to G at the receiving end;
7) Connect the sending end and receiving end with CAT-5E/6 cable or FC optical fiber cable;
8) Dial the buttons on the sending end and receiving end to CAT (network cable) or Fiber (FC optical fiber).
9) Power on the sending end and receiving end;
